A few short facts about me. My name is Kimberly Watkins and I am the Broker in Charge for Stardust Mtn. & Foothills Realty. I was born in Thurmond, N.C.,raised in Spartanburg, S.C.,and lived with my husband and children for many years in Columbia, South Carolina. So if you ask me, I will tell you that I am a true Carolina girl-both North and South Carolina.
We moved back home in 2013 to be near my Mother. I received my N.C. Real Estate license after moving back and I am very glad to be home.
I have a Studio Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. I also have a Master Gardening degree from Clemson Extension in Columbia, S.C.
My husband and I owned a Mercedes Benz repair facility for most of our adult lives. We sold our business so we could move back home, and help out with our family. I like real estate because I come in contact with some of the most interesting people in the world! I am happy to educate the public on how real estate works in N.C., so that they can make a more informed decision in their home-buying/home-selling journey. I want them to love their new home or I want them to feel great about selling their home and getting the opportunity to move forward with a new property, or into a new pathway. It makes me feel like I have really done my job well when my clients are really happy and excited about the future.
